After qualifying from The University of Birmingham in 2001, Dr Shivani Sharma worked in general practice in London, gaining her MCG Dent (formerly MFGDP) and also her IV sedation certificate in 2004.
Her focus has been to encourage nervous patients and children to embrace dentistry and she encourages all of her patients to look after their teeth and gums as part of their overall general health. Shivani is accredited to provide a level of orthodontic treatment to straighten teeth through using clear aligners. She often then uses whitening and composite bonding to ‘tidy the smile’.
As our Cross Infection Control lead, Shivani ensures that our nursing team are trained and supported to create a safe and clean environment for the patients and staff alike.
She also leads the management team with the aim to constantly assess and improve the patient journey.
